About Naruto

Naruto was first created as a one-shot about fox spirits when it was submitted into Akamaru Jump by Masashi Kishimoto. It was published in the August issue of     1997. Masashi was originally appalled by the style and the way his creation was and was going to dispose of the idea to focus on his other current manga. His audience, however, was enthralled by the one-shot and encouraged him to make more of it and continue it. He did. That little one-shot became what is known to us Anime geeks as the great anime/manga of Naruto.

The storyline of Naruto surrounds the life of a boy given the name of Naruto Uzumaki who's an orphen. The boy was given the Kyuubi's spirit sealed within him, when it attacked the village about 12 years ago. Because of the Kyuubi sealed within him, people within the village shun him and believe that he is nothing but bad news. He hates this and decides getting attention and becoming the hokage(the most respected ninja in the village) so people would finally notice him to be his life's desire. He does not know the fox spirit is inside him, at first, and neither does his generation, but nether the less, his generation shuns him because their parents do. He soon becomes a ninja, and gains great friends, team mates, mentors, and even a rival along the way. His life is full of jutsu, masters, rivals, turmoil, friends, and sometimes even a little love and pervyness. ;)
